Key2 Optics Passive CWDM MUX/DEMUX can simultaneously transmit multiple signals on a single fiber, each channel is transmitted by a specific wavelength of light. Passive CWDM does not require power. Different signals are collected by different wavelengths to the passive CWDM MUX and then combined to transmit through a single fiber to CWDM DMUX.
